i heart Company of Strangers Metal 2 Rusty James

I love these necklaces! They're currently on sale at Company of Strangers. I didn't realize before but they're in collaboration with this artist from my hometown in New Zealand -Anne Mieke Ytsma and they contain crystals all with different uses. Very tempted.

i heart Carrie Bradshaw's Pink Cell phone

I am obsessed with the pink diamante and grey tape covered phone that Carrie uses in Sex in the City the Movie. You know, the one she throws in the sea and it sparkles to the bottom of the ocean... I want one! I might even buy some tape and diamantes and stick them to my iphone...I'm that crazy about this phone! That would be crazy wouldn't it?

i heart Winter Solstice

I found this vid of the actual rave! These pics I stole are from the festival in the centre of town, mainly of lanterns. They have lantern making classes with 100s of kids and a big parade of them all, with dancers in costume on stilts and all sorts of music. Wonderful festive fun.

I keep stumbling across photos of these lights, and I would love this to be my next craft project, but alas as I am renting, I doubt it! They make lighting so much more fun and colourful... maybe I will just settle for making some sort of garland, they just look so delightful!
